When I close my eyes I review my pain and gamez
a young man walking in the Shadow of Change,
the world seem strange, I found it more easier
to hang with a gang than deal with shame
if it wasn't for my own pride, who'll know where I'd be
society don't care about me.

I came from a poor family and even a poorer community
Just to find a way to be free, from my own sanity
I ran the streets to gain Love and Respect
my vision was blurred, my life was neglectful
I look in the world to acquire Satisfaction, Gratification and Compensation
my Perception of Life was based on Determination and Dedication
my love for peoples was something that disregarded
enduring the nuisance and suffering the b0mbardment
slept in a ghetto, with plenty apartments
I survive in a ghetto that was disorderly and vulnerable
People neglected me because I was obstinate and uncontrollable
didn't make an effort to take heed to authority
Just associated with the violent brute and a community of minorities
Distribute narcotics was my daily recreation and occupation
Buying clothes and shoes just for recognition
Struggling for wishes as a faithful ambitioner
my family always informed me that I was gone end up in a place
that I don't want to now look at me I'm getting treated degraded
and dishonor in the belly of the Beast
the pain I seek the love I see thinking of a way
to escape this pain and a way to be free
now that I am older, much farther in life
I see all my errors that I made every night
causing a fight amongst those who was righteous
eluding the rude awakening of a temporary stage
facing rage while enclosed in this cage,
can no one discredit me, now that I'm on a different page
just ensuring that those under me doesn't make the same mistakes.
